I was born and raised in Gettysburg and grew up in the very store I work in today. My parents, Ep and Jan Sieler, owned Jones Drug for 30+ years before selling it to Jim Stephens in the early 1990s. After graduating from Gettysburg High School in 1999, I attended SDSU in Brookings, receiving my Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2003 and my Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2005. After graduation, I worked as an independent contractor for the Indian Health Service in Eagle Butte, SD, for exactly one year before coming home to Vilas in Gettysburg. I am a member of the American Pharmacist’s Association and the South Dakota Pharmacist’s Association and was honored as the 2015 Young Pharmacist of the Year. I couldn't be happier living in the community I grew up in, serving customers I have known my whole life! It’s a privilege for me to take care of the community that shaped me into the person I am and many of the same people who took care of me growing up—teachers, coaches, neighbors, and friends!
My husband, Justin, farms with his family near Agar, SD, and is also an SDSU alumnus. Our daughter, Henley, is almost 2 and keeps us running! We are so thankful to have the opportunity to raise our children in the same close-knit community we grew up in. There’s no place we’d rather be!
